Feeding the Poor

At St. Patrick’s the Church makes an effort, together with other Christian denominations, to see to the needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ who are poor, homeless, or simply down on their luck.  Jesus tells us in the Gospel that the poor will always be with us and that the poor are a gift from God who give us a chance to love selflessly, without any risk of gaining earthly reward.
Remember the gospel words… ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Mt 25:40
