The Youth Faith Formation Program at St. Patrick’s Church serves children in Grades 1–9 and is designed to nurture and grow their relationship with God and the Church.
Curriculum Overview

We use “BLESSED” by Dynamic Catholic, a beautiful and engaging program for preparing children to receive the Eucharist. -
Grades 3–7:
Students will follow a curriculum drawn from trusted Catholic Faith Formation resources including:-
Christ Our Life by Loyola Press
-
TeachingCatholicKids.com by Our Sunday Visitor
-
The Religion Teacher by Jared Dees
and other age-appropriate resources that support growth in knowledge, prayer, and discipleship.
-
- Confirmation Preparation – Two-Year Program
- Confirmation I (Grade 8): Students will primarily use Chosen by Ascension Press.
- Confirmation II (Grade 9): Students will use Decision Point by Dynamic Catholic.
Class Schedules
-
Grades 1, 3–7:
Classes will be held on designated Saturday mornings throughout the year. -
First Holy Communion (Grade 2):
Classes will also be held on designated Saturday mornings. -
Confirmation I & II (Grades 8 & 9):
Classes will be in person on designated Sunday mornings throughout the year.
Attendance at the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass is required on those Sundays.
Mass Attendance
Families are expected to prioritize participation in the Mass. If your family is unable to attend in person due to serious circumstances, we ask that you dedicate one hour weekly to watching the 10:00 AM live-streamed Mass from St. Patrick’s Church. However, please note that the obligation to attend weekend Mass in person has been reinstated by the Church.
-
Grades 2–7: Students must submit weekly Mass Journals as part of their faith formation.
-
All Sacramental Years (Grades 2, 8 & 9) require weekly Mass attendance.
Safe Environment Curriculum
All grade levels participate in the Diocese of Fall River’s Safe Environment Program called “Circle of Grace”. This program helps to ensure a safe, faith-filled learning environment for all students.
Parent & Family Involvement
Faith formation is a partnership with parents and families. We rely on your involvement to reinforce lessons, support regular prayer and Mass attendance, and walk with your children as they grow in faith.
