We will meet at 6pm at the parish Hall and head out to Dick Boucher’s camp for a camp fire and a little manhunt.

Wareham Walk for Hunger

Come walk with St. Patrick’s to raise money to feed the homeless in our community. You can find a PLEDGE SHEET here. We will be meeting at St. Patrick’s at 12:30pm on Sunday, May 6th.

Altar Server Sign Ups

Altar Servers–Sign-up sheets for the Christmas Masses will be available in the Sacristy next weekend. Also, Fr. Ron will be putting together the schedule for the next quarter please email him if you have any special requests for scheduling. Finally, Fr. Ron has receive a few requests from young people who would like to be Altar servers, if you know anyone who might be interested in becoming a server have them contact Fr. Ron.

Youth Group 2go2 Extreme East

YOUTH GROUP–Extreme East is a mix between a concert, pizza party, and praise and worship service that occurs once a month at the LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro. The youth group will be meeting at the Church at 5:20 and departing about 5:30 to attend Extreme East: December on Friday the 3rd of December. If you are interested in joining hundreds of young Catholics to have some fun and get ready for the Birth of our Savior contact Fr. The New Translation of the Mass

Maybe you have heard that the Translation of the Holy Mass in English is changing! In Advent of next year the way English speaking Catholics pray the Mass will change. During the upcoming year there will be many opportunities to learn more about these changes, but if you are interested in a sneak preview of some of the changes and the rationale behind them check out Fr. Teaching Mass

This week concludes our three week teaching Mass series. We hope that you benefited from this opportunity to contemplat what happens at the Mass. The Mass is the mystery of God’s love of us, its a reality that we can always understand better and understand more profoundly. During the coming year as we prepare for the new translation of the Mass a number of opportunites will be available for you to deepen your understanding and love of the “Source and Summit” of our Catholic Faith, the Holy Mass. If you would like to review the text of the teaching Mass or Fr. Ron’s Homilies they are available online.

Golf Tournament

St. Patrick’s Youth Group is hosting a golf tournament at Little Harbor Country Club on September 25, 2010. This golf tournament is to raise money for the World Youth Day Trip To Spain in August 2011. The price will be $65 per person to play and a ticket to the banquet is $30 per person. The tournament is going off of Tee-Times starting at 9 o’clock in the morning; the play format of this tournament is best ball.
