Feeding the Poor

The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Mt 25:40

Jesus tells us in the Gospel that the poor will always be with us and that the poor are a gift from God who give us a chance to love selflessly, without any risk of gaining earthly reward.  At St. Patrick’s the Church makes an effort, together with other Christian denominations, to see to the needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ who are poor, homeless, or simply down on their luck.  Below you will find some information about services offered at St. Patrick’s and in the town of Wareham that seek to protect the dignity of the human person by caring for their most basic needs.
