Ministries
- Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion – St. Patrick’s Extra-Ordinary Ministers are lay people who assist the priests and deacons with the distribution of Holy Communion when necessity demands.
- Eucharistic Adoration – St. Patrick’s Parish celebrates Eucharistic Adoration on the First Friday of each month
- Altar Servers – St. Patrick’s Altar Servers assist the priest at the altar; must be in at least grade 3
- Camillus Club – St. Patrick’s Camillus Club sets up the altar in local nursing homes in preparation for Mass and assists patients who want to attend mass
- Cantor – St. Patrick’s Cantors lead the congregation in singing at Mass
- Choirs:
- Traditional – Under the direction of Mr. Robert Rousseau, St. Patrick’s Traditional Choir provides traditional music accompanied with our pipe organ for the Saturday 4:00pm Mass
- Folk – Under the direction of Mrs. Mary Iaccobucci, St. Patrick’s Folk Choir provides contemporary music with guitar accompaniment for the Sunday 10:00 am Mass.
- Lector – St. Patrick’s lectors assist the priest at Mass by proclaiming the Word of God
- Homebound Ministry – St. Patrick’s Homebound Ministry ministers to homebound members of our parish who desire to remain connected to the Church.
- Hospital Ministry – St. Patrick’s Hospital Ministry ministers to patients in Tobey Hospital who request a visit.
- Nursing Home Ministry – St. Patrick’s Nursing Home Ministry ministers to patients in the local nursing homes who desire to remain connected to the Church.
- Prison Ministry – Led by Deacon Dan Donovan our prison ministry runs monthly retreats at the Barnstable House of Corrections providing opportunities for us to share faith, fellowship, and the Gospel message of redemption with our brothers and sisters in Christ who are in bondage, both physical and spiritual.
- Ushers – St. Patrick’s Ushers assist with seating when necessary and collect the tithes during the collection

Prayer Groups
- Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) – Alcoholics Anonymous meets Thursdays in St. Patrick’s Parish Center at 8 pm. For info about meetings in Wareham click here.
- Charismatic Prayer Group – St. Patrick’s Charismatic Prayer Group meets Thursdays at 7:30 pm in our church for an informal worship session to praise and listen to God through song, prayer and silence.
- Prayerline – the St. Patrick’s prayer group is an outreach of our charismatic prayer group who respond to requests for prayer

Apostolates
- Faith Formation – St. Patrick’s Faith Formation provides religious education to the youth and adults of our parish. To enroll your children or volunteer as a catechist or teachers aid please contact our Director of Faith Formation. Click here to send her an email.
- Baptism Preparation – St. Patrick’s Baptism Prep desires to help Catholic parents to welcome their children into the church, giving them the gift of Faith and with it Eternal Life. The Baptism Prep team includes married people and parents who give witness to their experiences of married life and raising children in the Church, and who offer fellowship, prayers, and assistance to new parents. - Marriage Preparation – St. Patrick’s Marriage Preparation, a Diocesan requirement, ministers to couples preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage
- Pro-Life Committee – The St. Patrick’s Pro-Life committee meets regularly to plan fund raisers to assist various local Crisis Pregnacy Centers, plan educational lectures, pro-life retreats, and pilgrimages. The pro-life committe also is the Parish sponsor of the annual Cape Cod Bus For Life which takes local Catholics on pilgrimage to Washington DC for the Vigil for Life and the annual March for Life. - Renew – St. Patrick’s parishioners meet in small groups to develop a closer relationship with Jesus, make an adult commitment to center their lives on Jesus and be open to the power of the Holy Spirit.
- St. Patrick’s Table – St. Patrick’s Table serves a ‘Friendship Meal’ every Wednesday in our Parish Center providing an opportunity for people in our community to meet with their friends and enjoy a nice meal in an atmosphere of companionship and camaraderie. - Saint Vincent de Paul Society – St. Vincent de Paul Society ministers to people by giving food to those in need each Wednesday from 12 pm – 2pm and 5:30 pm – 7 pm.
- Vocation Committee – St. Patrick’s Vocation Committee is committed to bring vocation awareness to St. Patrick’s Parish Community while supporting and affirming vocations to the Priesthood, Diaconate, Religious LIfe, Single Life and Married life
- Youth Group – Teens gather in the parish hall the 3rd Monday of each month from 7-8:30pm for faith, food and fun!
