Baptisms

Baptisms—Over the past few weeks, especially if youfrequent the 11:30 Mass, you may have noticed that wehave begun to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism withinthe Mass. This is a great opportunity for us to cometogether as a community and share the joy of our brothersand sisters in Christ. We encourage you to show yoursupport and love to the families of those who are beingbaptized. At every moment we must work to act like thefamily that we truly are by virtue of our Baptism and sharingin the Body of Christ. However, out of respect for thebusyness of our lives, as of June Baptisms will be heldprimarily on the 2nd Sunday of each month at any of theregularly scheduled Masses, rather than every Sunday.While Baptisms may be scheduled for other times, includingpossibly other Sundays, we will try to arrange them forthe second Sunday. Baptism prepclasses are held the second Friday of each month, butparents should call ahead to RSVP if planning to attend.
